Betânia has begun preparing a volunteer trip for young Americans to Brazil, with the goal of contributing to the work of the Social Sport Petrópolis organization. Social Sport’s mission is to use sports as a tool for transformation, providing incredible experiences for those who participate and are under its care. Operating at the Clube do Carangola field in the city of Petrópolis (Rio de Janeiro), the organization serves dozens of children and contributes to their formation in values.
The volunteer trip is scheduled to take place in May 2025. Full of various activities, workshops, and interactions, it will be an opportunity for a profound exchange of experiences and will offer the foreign young volunteers the chance to serve outside their country, grow in a social commitment experience, and engage in the life and mission of a Brazilian social organization. The organization, in turn, will have the opportunity to help expand the horizons of its beneficiary children.
